Isle of Wight Cruise
This cruise heads east along the Boscombe and Southbourne coastlines, passing the magnificent Hengistbury Head, and then turns north to cross Christchurch Bay giving fine views of Christchurch Priory, Mudeford and Highcliffe Beaches. It then passes Hurst Castle, which guards the entrance to the Solent. It was here that King Charles I was imprisoned prior to his execution at the Tower of London.
The boat then passes Forts Albert and Victoria on the Island Shore, and Keyhaven on the Mainland before arriving at Yarmouth where passengers disembark and have time to explore the harbour town and ancient castle.
There is then the opportunity to take the Open Top Bus for a trip to view the Needles Rocks, Lighthouse and Alum Bay, or to spend some time at The Needles Pleasure Park before returning home.
