Cruise from Swanage to Brownsea Island, with the option of landing and exploring the Island before returning on a later boat.
The cruise from Swanage is a one hour round-trip cruise, along the Jurassic Coast, past Old Harry Rocks, into Poole Harbour and landing on Brownsea Island. All guests aboard are dropped off on Brownsea Island and will be picked up by a later boat and returned to Swanage.
Brownsea Island is teeming with wildlife, including red squirrels, peacocks and sika deer. The landscape is a delightful variety of beaches, heathland, green field and rocky outcrops. The castle and chapel are beautiful sights and there is a lovely café to enjoy a spot of lunch. The cruise returns you to Swanage Pier in the afternoon.
The boats have wide open decks, comfortable lounges, washrooms and a fully licensed bar aboard serving freshly baked cakes, snacks, hot and cold beverages, real Purbeck Ales and much more.
Non National Trust members will be charged a landing fee on the island.
