Why not travel by boat - you'll not only get great views of the coast, you'll also avoid the hassle of parking! The town centre has a wide range of shops and boutiques, and there are plenty of open air cafés, restaurants and pubs in which to relax and watch the world go by. If you want to explore the mysteries of the deep, why not visit the Oceanarium? Or if you have a head for heights, take a ride on the Bournemouth Eye - a giant helium balloon which rises 500ft to give you panoramic views for up to 20 miles over the English Channel and surrounding countryside.
Bournemouth manages to blend the traditional with the contemporary, so you're sure to have a great day out. Just don't miss the last boat home!
